THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT AND ISLAM (Part 1)

 

 

 

 

 

“Thou shalt not kill.”   (Exodus 20:13)

 

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”   (Psalm 83:4)

 

 

 

THE KORAN (QURAN)

 

 

In the Quran Muslims are told in Sura 9:5: “Fight and slay the pagans [i.e. infidels] wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war.”

 

What are Muslims supposed to do to the people who resist Islam? Sura 5:33 says:

 

“Their punishment is ... execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from the opposite sides, or exile from the land.”[1]

 

 

 

JIHAD AND WORLD DOMINATION

 

 

In Islamic thought, the world is divided into two houses: Dar al-Islam (House of Islam) and Dar al-Harb (House of War).  Nations under Islamic control belong to the “House of Islam.”  All others are in the “House of War.”[2]

 

The late Ayatollah Khomeini, the fanatical leader of Iran who ousted the Shah and brought a resurgence of fundamental Islam to the Middle East, even preached, “The purest joy in Islam is to kill and be killed for Allah.”[3]

 

To kill and be killed for Islam ensures, for the “warriors of jihad,” entry into Allah's paradise.  This is what encouraged “suicide bombers” to blow up embassies and our Marine barracks in Lebanon.  America is the “Great Satan” to Muslims.

 

Jews and Christians are targeted for total annihilation, unless they submit to Islam.  Middle East Muslims chant in their demonstrations, “First we fight the Saturday people, then we fight the Sunday people.”[4]

 

In October 1993, in Saudi-Arabia, where the laws do not allow the practice of any religion other than Islam, a father and son were beheaded together for “having come to faith in Christ.”[5]

 

Muslims are crucifying Christians by the thousands in southern Sudan.  Lebanese Christians are fleeing for their lives as Hezbollah takes over in Lebanon.  Both Europe and America now have large, rapidly expanding Muslim populations.

 

 

 

ISLAM AND ISRAEL

 

 

“Allah has bestowed upon us the rare privilege of finishing what Hitler only began. Let the jihad begin. Murder the Jews. Murder them all.”[6]  “Fighting the Jews and Israel is a religious obligation and a divine duty.”[7]

 

“Whenever a Moslem plunges a knife or axe into an innocent Jewish victim he screams ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is greater), and this war cry accompanies Moslem gunfire, hand grenade and petrol bomb attacks also.”[8]

 

“Peace for us means the destruction of Israel”  -- Yassir Arafat[9]  On May 10, 1994, just six days after signing the “Peace Accord,” Arafat called for Jihad (holy war) to liberate Jerusalem.[10]

 

“The struggle with the Zionist enemy is not a struggle about Israel's borders, but about Israel's existence.”[11]

 

“We have not abandoned the gun. The Fatah still has armed bands, they continue to exist, and anything you hear [to the contrary] is purely for strategic purposes.”[12]

 

“[The Peace Accord] is only a cease-fire until the next stage in the armed struggle. There is no decision in Fatah to cease the armed struggle against the occupation.”[13]

 

“All Palestinian liberation groups ... have stated their aims clearly: The formation of a Palestinian state is only the first step toward driving the Jews completely out of the Land.”[14]

 

 

 

TYPICAL ISLAMIC ATTACKS

 

 

“Typical attacks took place in April 1994: A 23 year- old mother was stabbed seven times as she nursed her two-week old baby -- miraculously both the mother and baby survived.

 

“A bus taking on high school pupils in Afula was the target for a car bomb in which eight died and another 51 were injured, some critically -- severed limbs were strewn over a wide area.”[15]

 

The great majority of the victims of the 1974 massacres in Kiryat Shmonah and Ma'alot were children, and those murders were “publicly applauded throughout the Arab world,” just as today's terrorist actions are.[16]

 

The Kiryat Shmonah massacre left 18 dead, including five women and eight children.  The attack on the Ma'alot School left 20 dead and wounded another 70, nearly all children.[17]

 

“In Arab thought," says Laffin, "a victim is responsible for his own suffering. Against all this it is pointless to appeal to conscience and ask, 'How can you wage war on children?' Given a lifetime's indoctrination, a man can wage war on anyone.”[18]

 

Muslims may call it holy war.  But the God of the Bible calls it murder.  Islam is a religion of hate and murder.  It is an enormous violation of the Sixth Commandment, “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13).
